Giving In To Online Social Networks

Poor Richard and his million friends. :P

I caved in to creating an account on facebook after enormous peer pressure, so I'm on there as well. Not that I'm very likely to use it much, unless it's good for stalking people. ;-)

Quote of the year

Leela was attempting to try some oat-y cereal at exactly the same time that I decided to make her laugh...

And Then We Had No Water

I timed myself yesterday - it's more like 14 hours/week door to door. Sucks!

12 hours commuting thats like forever.

Get yourself over to facebook you are missed!

Oh and next time you're in America find a resturant called the Cheesecake Factory, they don't just sell cheesecake but the cheesecake they sell is devine!

Was over in Boston in July and I had Kobe beef there, it was the nicest piece of beef I've EVER eaten!

Did you get to see anything other than Alcatraz in SF then? Wondered what else there is to do! We're off to California next year and we're hoping to visit SF, LA, Yosemite, San Jose and some other random places, just trying to get a route around the state nailed down!

Hurrah, he's alive!

I keep meaning to see that particular part of the US. I've managed to do the East Coast, and now the Midwest, so the West Coast and Hawaii are next on the list. I just need to find some sort of business reason to go there, and then it's on the company! :-)

It sounds like quite a nice trip. You should post a warning on your page, though, that you are in another country, so the rest of us don't get too worried :P With regard to ice cream parlours, I am told that Rome has some quite good ones as well, if you ever happen to come that way. Also, we have some decent ones around here, if you know where to go - little local ones that make their own ice cream. Yum.

I am looking forward to the story of your lack of water and Leelas tantrum.

For everything else...

Well, it was a very large smoothie - lasted me over 2 hours! I was expecting to get the later train, but when I saw the time I thought I could make the early one... and I could have, if it hadn't been for those meddling --kids-- OAPS...

That's one expensive smoothie... Anyway, you should plan your day better, so you don't miss your train just because you got delayed for a few minutes. Silly.

Anyway, the problem with the mobile phone, I know far too well. It doesn't even seem there's a function to fill out a text field according to something you've written in another program or anything. Quite silly.

What?! A small bottle of smoothie cost you £3.49?!! You can buy a massive bottle for £1.99 in Sainsbury, luck out!

Sorry, Regular Readers

I didn't mean you were dull! I meant that I find reading the journals of people I don't know to be boring.

No need to take offence!!

Nothing wrong with reading a stranger's journal! It depends on the quality of the entries :)

Yes, the photos situation must be addressed at some point in the near future.

I have never knowingly met radiac yet I still read his diary. So if his clients are as dull as I am then maybe they will read it.

Anyway, there's definitely a lack of recent photos around here.

I think you should write what you like on here. Reading strangers journals is incredibly dull so I don't think a client would read it?
I think your journal only adds to your fantabulousness so you should update it more and put some more photos up.

Well I'm planning on splitting the technical stuff off from this site at some point, but I do want to keep this domain as the personal one - friends have been coming to radiac.net for 7 years, radiac.co.uk for 8, so I'd have to put a link over or they'd lose contact.

I'll just have to put a bigger warning sign up on the front page pointing potential clients where they should be going :)

Anyway, this is hardly the diary of a drug-dealing child-snatching serial killer - nothing here that should put anyone off. Besides, I write it as much for myself as anyone else - it's good to be able to look back 5 years and remember what I was doing, even if I do usually cringe ;)

I think my paranoia just got the better of me for a bit - never mind, back now :p

Easy solution... have a totally separate domain for your blog. Separate it from this site. However, what you used to write was amusing and didn't seem something that would put clients off. Of course if you are worried you should be cautious - you don't want to go out of business simply to amuse your friends!!

Time For New Spectacles!

Thanks :)

Yes, the post count is down - mostly because I've started to become paranoid about what I'm saying, because clients seem to pass this address around rather than the one they're meant to. Pfft.
