I notice they now have an utility for the usb modems that allows you to change the compression settings.

There is a proxy setting to put in on the datacards that bypasses the image shrinking and stuff. Also are you on an option for using the phone as a modem?

I'm more worried about the hordes of ladybirds that seem to live on our patio and insist on crawling through the gaps in the doors. They will doubtless attract swarms of carnivorous chinese wasps that will be quite happy living here thanks to global warming. Those will in turn bring birds and their flu - and in the recession, I won't be able to afford black market tamiflu.
