SatNav and Wales

I thought we all knew that GPS navigators can't be trusted, and their directions have to be taken with a healthy sprinkling of common sense. Shame nobody told this ambulance driver - seriously though, how could they possibly travel for 4 hours without realising they're going the wrong way? That's pretty spectacular - bet they'll never live that one down.

Earlier this evening I put Leela on a train to Cardiff, and now I'm back working on the activity for tomorrow. Two hours... will it be enough?!

It's Only Just Beguuuuun

I know you've all been looking forward to this as much as I have - yes kids, that's right, it's that time of year again - it's midnight on the first of December, and that means the decorations are up at radiac.net.

This year marks the 8th year I've put up decorations! I feel old ;)

The sidebar is relentless, telling me I have under 2:15 to finish preparations. I'll be cutting it close tonight - I'm really wishing I had indeed taken the afternoon off, instead of ending up working as I did ;)

Let's Play Operation After Christmas!

A quick update to my last entry - I've managed to have my appointment moved to January 9th, which means that it will miss Christmas, New Year, and my birthday! And it will be this side of summer! Hurrah!

In other news, I am taking this afternoon off from work to prepare for tonight. Is it just Leela who thinks I take this too seriously? ;)

Let's Play Operation

So, you remember how I went to see a doctor in October, and he said there would be a few months wait before my operation, up to 6 months? So I was thinking "Oh, great, that'll be March then, bet they book me in on my birthday."

How wrong I was.

The letter arrived today - 27th December.
