I have a television, and mir plays stuff into it fairly well. Am working on a perl-based curses menu to fire up various programs over a lirc-based control system. It should be cool :)
Anyway, I've run out of things to do, and I've got a 9.15 tomorrow, so had better go to bed.
Oh, can't remember if I posted a link to this game. If I did, I shouldn't have, it's far too addictive.
Been playing UT2003 demo a lot. It's fun.
We bought a microwave yesterday. Very shiny and beepy and has green lights and is nice.
My TV is arriving sometime in the next 4.25 hours. Very exciting.
ADSL works in our house now :) Our rooms are networked, and I got to check my email for the first time in a week:

Hiya. Been a while since I've made an entry - kinda been without internet for a while. Am sitting in the uni library waiting for my next lecture (6.15, gah!), so thought I'd post. Cos I'm like that. And bored.
Um, uh, right, what's been happening. House is good. Everything seems to work, it's in a good location and we now have ADSL, or at least we will when I can work out how to get the router working. Spent about an hour playing today, couldn't get it working. Problems with IP addresses and ...
I'm in my new flat in Bath. Got here yesterday, sorted out the phone line, ordered ADSL and got the fridge working. Today Doug came over from Bristol, we ate pizza and had a chat before he left. I unpacked some stuff, and now I'm on the internet again.
Tomorrow I'll sort out the gas. It's kinda chilly here.
