You fool!

I just moved my secondary 10gb hard drive over from my 233 into this machine, and it's messed up the drive letters. I'm also stuck with a linux partition on the 4gb left in my 233, but of course I deleted the operating system partition, lost my red hat cd, so I've got to download a linux distro on a disk...

I amaze myself sometimes

Woh, I've done some work!

Think I've got PH01, PH02 and PH03 sorted, which is good, because I have modules in them next week.

Oooh eck

My linux machine won't boot any more, so I have no routing. I have no idea what's happened; originally looked like someone had managed to delete /etc, but after booting with tomsbrt and mounting the hard drive, I can see that's not the case. It may be something nice and easy, but it may not... either way, I think my D&D CW and the three physics exams on wednesday are higher priority, so I'll have no net access other than on my laptop for a few days... aaaaargh

It's my birthday tomorrow!

I've opened my cards and presents (cos I won't have time tomorrow)... I still haven't decided what I'd like for my main birthday present from my parents, but I've got lots of chocolate (yay!), cds, a fountain pen, a printer cartridge, money and oh yeh, a rejection from Warwick University.

What a pants university that is. They're not even smart enough to realise they need me. Pfft.

On the plus side, Bristol seemed to like me; they've given me an AAB offer. Am trying to decide if I ...
