Waaaaaaaay!
It's that time of year again, and I think I have surpassed myself. As ever, even this wonderful design is not complete. Keep popping back to see the wonderful things that are just waiting to explode messily from my brain all over the monitor.
So, all together now....
Are you hanging up your stockings on your wall
Are you hoping that the snow will start to fall
Do you ride on down the hillside in a buggy you have made
When you land and fall on your head then you will say
So here it is Merry Xmas
Everybody's having fun
Look to the future now
It's only just begun
Wheeeeee!
Indeed it has :p

Andrew has his Christmas theme up. He designed it last week and automated the update. What a wuss.
The comments about this year's Christmas theme are pouring in. They are all, unfortunately, unrepeatable.

Hello people!
And as a thank you to you frequent visitors who keep me going, I trawled Google image search, without SafeSearch filtering, to bring you a very special Christmas card as a thank you:

Good, now that we've got that out of the way and I've secured my cell in the hot burny place, I happily announce that the TCMI has, once again, started spreading like a virus throughout the internet. Or at least it's made it to spod.cx, Shewolf's Emmerdale fan site and fuzzle.org :)
If there are any more sightings of the Tacky Christmas Music Interface, please let me know :) And if you want to use the TCMI on your site, you can get it from perl.uzeweb.com, and then let me know so I can add a sighting here :)

Today has been very exciting.
I am in the library helping with the writeup for my group project.
I spent 3 hours hunting for a birthday card today. There are hundreds of 'To the bestest daddy in the whole wide world' and 'To my favourite second cousin twice removed', but hardly any decent ones for friends. It's rediculous.
I had another Starbucks triple chocolate bliss earlier today... drank it all and there was a massive lump of cream left in the bottom, so I thought it would be a good idea to take the top off and drink it. Thing was, it was too big for my mouth, so it went all over my mouth, nose, dribbled down my chin etc. To make matters worse, I was in the middle of waterstones at the time.

We love the French!

Quote from Slashdot:
Beautiful.
With English spelling, like Perl, there is often more than one way to do it. But with French, as I understand it, if you misspell something (or, god forbid, mispronounce it) they throw cheese at you then surrender preemptively.
Beautiful.

My advent calendar has chocolate and jokes under each of the doors.
Today's joke has a disclaimer.

Q. What do Elves make sandwiches out of?I kid you not.
A. Shortbread!
This joke in no way mocks the vertically challenged but only Elves and Elf/Gnome/Pixie related cultural stereotypes
Lets Review Some Games

Well, seeing as I have so much work to do, I thought I'd download some demos and spend the afternoon playing them.
So, first one I tried was Hitman 2, which was OK. Only one level, so I made the most of it. The game thinks I'm a mass murderer, but I know I'm just that good.
Next up was Splinter Cell, which was lame. It sucked donkey balls. I was halfway through my mission when it suddenly spewed at me You and this mission are finished! Too many civilian casualties. Pfft. I only got 3...
And finally came Blood Rayne, and was truly fantastic. Story: You are a sexy vampiric chick. Kill nazis and drink their blood. They dont worry you about inventories or weapons or any of that poncey rubbish. No, you just have guns. Guns, and swords on your arms. You can either shoot things or cut things. It's up to you. Either way, their limbs are going to fall off, and the walls are going to get smeared with a lot of blood.
It really is a lovely charming little game.

Finally, someone saying what we're all thinking...
Don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow evening, um, tonight rather... probably go to a friends house near TW. I have been invited to friends in Exeter, but I think it's a bit far, and I'm a wuss...
Out of interest, am I the only one who wants to see the jackal make the kill? Whiney FBI people always getting in the way... *sigh* poor Bruce :)

I've had my driving license for over two years now.
Also can't decide what to do tonight. Whenever I tell Chris to decide, he says 'im not bothered' and 'hmmmmm your choice'.
Jamie just rang and decided for us, so looks like we'll be going there.
